‘Corona virus’ update from Google

A new leak has revealed that Google is working to add Covid-19 points to its Maps service Google Maps.

The US-based technology company is preparing to add corona virus (Covid-19) points to Google Maps service Google Maps.

According to 9to5Google, the new feature will show Google users the areas where Covid-19 is most intense.

When users activate the feature in Google Maps, they will encounter an outbreak intensity map.

Google is collecting information about the outbreak from Wikipedia, The New York Times, Johns Hopkins University and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, according to reports citing sources close to the company.

The feature, which Google is testing, will first come into use in the United States.

There is no information on whether the feature will be available in countries other than the United States.
